Paine Webber Group Inc.: The New York-based company said it had a fourth-quarter loss of $92.3 million, contrasted with net income of $10.9 million in the year-ago period. Revenue was $409.1 million, down 9.6% from 1989. For 1990, the holding company for stock brokerage services and investment banking lost $57.4 million, contrasted with a profit of $52 million for 1989. Revenue was flat at $1.74 billion. The quarterly and full-year losses reflected a fourth-quarter after-tax charge of $95.5 million for restructuring and for adding to merchant banking reserves, the company said.
