La Puente : Retail Center Plans OKd
A vacant building in the South Hills Square commercial center will be developed into a 23-tenant retail center under plans approved by the City Council Tuesday.
In a 5-0 vote, the council gave the go-ahead to G&A; Partnership to renovate the 19,600-square-foot building at 1717 N. Hacienda Blvd. The structure has been vacant since the Federated Group closed its store there almost two years ago.
