THE GULF WAR : Shuttle Plans
The next U.S. SPACE SHUTTLE FLIGHT will carry telescopes, cameras and other equipment capable of seeing Iraqi missiles--but U.S. military officials said they had no formal spy plans. The shuttle Discovery, scheduled for a Feb. 26 launch, contains experiments that will help Defense Department scientists design better sensors for military satellites.
