Wonderful Wyndham
My husband and I love to travel and many of the articles, suggestions, tips, have added to the pleasure of our trips. One of these articles dealt with small hotels in New York (“New York City’s Friendliest Small Hotels,” Oct. 21) and because of the description of the Wyndham Hotel we thought it sounded delightful and almost like a home away from home. We stayed there in September, 1990, and returned again for a three-night stay two weeks ago. We were thoroughly enchanted with the place.
Recently two people wrote letters to the editor on their unpleasant experiences. Our second visit to the Wyndham was after I read the letters and needless to say, I was a little apprehensive. But we were pleased to find that our second experience was as pleasant as the first. Rooms are large, clean and bright. The elevator operators were charming and helpful. The Wyndham is for us an oasis in the middle of a busy crowded metropolis.
