Rookie running back Leroy Hoard of the Cleveland Browns spent the first day of a three-day sentence in jail in the Cleveland suburb of Middleburg Heights. Hoard was convicted of driving 48 m.p.h. in a 25 m.p.h. zone--his third speeding violation in six months--and also entered a no-contest plea to driving with an expired license.
