Novelty Firm Wants to Sell $2 Million in Stock
With Design In Mind, a Chatsworth company that markets novelty items, said it has begun a private placement of stock in which it hopes to raise as much as $2 million. The company said it will sell up to 850,000 shares of stock to institutional investors for an expected average price of $2.375 per share.
With Design in Mind said it would use the money for working capital and to speed development of a recently announced three-dimensional video arcade game, which the company will market under an agreement with Dentsu Prox, a unit of the Japan’s Dentsu Inc., one of the world’s biggest advertising agencies.
