Fire In Ice Wins at Laurel

LAUREL, Md. — Fire In Ice scored a front-running victory in the $54,325 Inner Harbor stakes at the Laurel Race Course Sunday. The favorite, ridden by Marco Castaneda, ran 1 1/8 miles in 1:52 3/5 to finish 1 1/4 lengths in front of Petty Amusing.
Fortunate Lance finished three lengths behind in third in the field of six 2-year-old. The winner paid $5.80.
