SANTA ANA — A 28-year-old man was arrested Thursday on a 17-count warrant alleging that he molested two boys while working as their baby-sitter.
Christopher David Roensch of Santa Ana was arrested at his home without incident on allegations that he sexually molested the two Tustin brothers, ages 9 and 10, and showed them pornographic magazines and movies.
Sheriff’s Department Lt. Richard J. Olson said the 17 counts cover incidents alleged to have occurred between Aug. 27 and Dec. 3, when the boys were left in Roensch’s care at his home.
Olson said the suspect reportedly works in the advertising industry and lives with his parents.
Roensch was being held in the Orange County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Santa Ana.
Sheriff’s Department officials said an incident report was made Dec. 8 after the alleged victims were interviewed. Olson declined comment on specific incidents other than to say they involved physical contact.
