BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Paul Ranheim, the Calgary Flames’ fourth-leading goal-scorer, broke his right ankle in the third period of a 5-4 victory over the Minnesota North Stars.
Ranheim may miss the rest of the regular season.
Ranheim, who has 11 goals and 12 assists, received the injury when he slipped into the corner before Minnesota’s Chris Dahlquist hit him in Tuesday’s game.
