New Reserve Call-Up

WASHINGTON — The Pentagon on Wednesday called to active duty a total of 13,698 people from 102 Army National Guard and Army reserve units and two Marine Corps reserve units to serve in support of Operation Desert Shield.
It also sent notice to 60 more Army reserve units nationwide that they may be called to active duty.
