A judge refused Wednesday to reduce the $1-million bail for two men accused of kidnaping and robbing four San Diego State University students last week.
Terry A. Turner, a 27-year-old Los Angeles resident, and Timothy Long, a 19-year-old unauthorized absentee from the U.S. Germantown, remain in custody after pleading not guilty. Four fraternity brothers were apprehended at gunpoint as they left an Italian restaurant on El Cajon Boulevard early Nov. 28.
Two shotgun blasts were fired during the students’ ordeal, but no one was injured.
