The space shuttle Columbia headed into the final hours of the fifth countdown for an astronomy mission that has been on hold for half a year because of hydrogen leaks. It is scheduled to blast off just after midnight Sunday at Cape Canaveral, Fla., with seven astronauts and an astronomical observatory. It will orbit 218 miles above Earth for 10 days. The crew has been trying to reach space since late May, when the shuttle was grounded by the leaks.
