WORLD : Mick Jagger Weds in Indonesia
NEW YORK — Rolling Stone Mick Jagger and his longtime companion Jerry Hall were married last week in Bali, Indonesia, the publicist for the rock group said today.
The couple tied the knot Wednesday in “an Indonesian wedding ceremony,†after a six-week vacation touring the Far East, said spokeswoman Lori Somes of the publicity firm Rogers & Cowan Inc.
She said Jagger and Hall’s two children, Elizabeth, 6, and James, 5, attended the wedding. The best man was Alan Dunn, a friend of Jagger’s who has been a Rolling Stones tour director. The British rock star and the 34-year-old Texas-born model and actress have been together 12 years. In 1983, Jagger said that they would be marrying “any day now.â€
