Four of five positions are open on the Thousand Oaks Planning Commission.
The city clerk’s office will accept applications for the positions until Nov. 30. Accepted applicants, who must be residents of the city and registered voters, will be nominated by a council member and approved by the full council, said City Clerk Nancy Dillon.
The five-person commission meets every Monday night, discussing the city General Plan, which addresses land use and housing issues.
Experience on another commission or with architecture or building codes could work to an applicant’s advantage but is not a prerequisite for applying, Dillon said.
