Carolco Pictures Inc.: The diversified entertainment company said third-quarter net income plunged 72% to $1.4 million from a year earlier. Revenue soared 151% to $90.6 million. The Los Angeles firm said profit fell partly due to disappointing results from the films “Air America” and “Narrow Margin.” It said its 47%-owned Live Entertainment unit helped, thanks in large part to the success of the home video “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie,” which has shipped 9 million units to date.
