Mobil Settles Iranian Case for $13 Million
THE HAGUE — Oil giant Mobil Corp. will pay damages of $13 million to Iran to settle several claims stemming from the 1979 Iranian revolution, a Western diplomat close to a mediating tribunal said Friday.
A spokesman for Fairfax, Va.-based Mobil confirmed that a settlement was reached but declined further comment.
