BIG WEST ROUNDUP : Craver Runs for 3 Scores to Lead Fresno State, 45-18

Aaron Craver rushed for 136 yards and three touchdowns to lead Fresno State to a 45-18 Big West Conference victory over Nevada Las Vegas Saturday night at Las Vegas.
Bulldog quarterback Mark Barsotti also had an outstanding night, completing 15 of 29 passes for 314 yards and one touchdown.
Fresno State, 7-1-1 overall and 4-0-1 in the Big West, trails conference leader San Jose State by half a game. UNLV fell to 4-6 and 3-3.
Craver had scoring runs of one and 14 yards to give the Bulldogs a 14-0 lead six minutes into the game.
The Rebels cut the lead to 14-10 as quarterback Hunkie Cooper scored on a 20-yard run and Lewis Solorio kicked a 38-yard field goal.
Derek Mahoney kicked a 27-yard field goal with 6:19 remaining in the second quarter to give the Bulldogs a 17-10 halftime lead.
Fresno State pulled away in the third quarter. Barsotti threw a 47-yard scoring pass to Chris Gawley, Lorenzo Neal scored on a four-yard run and Craver ran 45 yards for a 38-10 lead with 4:57 left in the quarter.
Neal also scored on a seven-yard run in the fourth quarter, and UNLV’s Derek Black scored on a one-yard run.
Utah State 55, New Mexico State 10--Roger Grant ran for two touchdowns and Utah State’s defense took advantage of six turnovers en route to a Big West victory at Logan, Utah.
It was a big day for the Utah State running game, as Grant carried 28 times for 141 yards to key a 286-yard rushing attack.
Utah State improved to 3-4-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the Big West. New Mexico State (0-9, 0-5) lost its 26th consecutive game.
