Royal Repeats in Water Polo

The Royal and Harvard high water polo teams ended their league seasons Friday in championship form.
Royal, which has won 10 consecutive Marmonte League titles, put the finishing touches on another undefeated league season with a 16-4 victory over Newbury Park. Rob Martin had four goals for Royal (20-3, 10-0), which has not lost a league match since 1986 and has a 38-match league winning streak.
Harvard trounced visiting St. Francis, 27-5, to finish 20-6, 7-1 and in a tie for first place in the San Fernando Valley League with Crespi. Ryan Salceda led Harvard with six goals. Teammate Jim Toring missed the match because of illness.
