Saugus 17, Antelope Valley 15--Rob Chilton kicked a 25-yard field goal midway through the final period and Saugus held on for the victory at home.

Saugus scored on its first possession when quarterback Jason Bobby capped an 80-yard drive with a four-yard touchdown run. The Antelopes answered quickly when Freddie Edwards dashed 55 yards for a touchdown and then ran in the two-point conversion.

The Centurions regained the lead for good in the third quarter as David Doyle plunged two yards for a touchdown. After Chilton’s field goal, Antelope Valley cut the deficit to two points with 1:30 left on Mike Fossati’s one-yard sneak and the conversion.
