Fann Again Wins WFC Honor
Albert Fann, Cal State Northridge’s All-American tailback, was selected Western Football Conference offensive player of the week for the fourth time in his career.
Fann rushed for a season-high 181 yards in 32 carries, caught four passes for 54 yards and scored three touchdowns as Northridge defeated Cal State Sacramento, 24-13, Saturday.
Northridge (6-1) cracked the NCAA Division II Top 10 this week for the first time this season.
The ninth-ranked Matadors are 3-0 in WFC play.
