Dana Hills Defeats Capistrano Valley in Girls’ Tennis
The Dana Hills High School girls’ tennis team, paced by No. 1 singles player Anne Mall, defeated Capistrano Valley, 10-8, in a South Coast League match at Capistrano Valley.
Mall beat Page Bartelt, Capistrano Valley’s No. 1 player, 6-0, and won her other two sets at love. Anna Zarichi, the Dolphins’ No. 2 player, won two of three sets, losing only to Bartelt.
Dana Hills, ranked No. 3 in the Southern Section 4-A, is 14-1 overall, 7-0 in league play. Capistrano Valley, ranked No. 4, is 13-3, 5-2.
