Man Arrested in Fatal Stabbing
SANTA ANA — Police on Sunday arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man during an argument in front of a south Santa Ana apartment building.
Antonio Castillo of Santa Ana, who was found inside a Santa Ana residence, was arrested about 1 p.m. He is accused of stabbing Sergio Gonzalez, 22, of Santa Ana, a police spokesman said.
The attack took place outside Gonzalez’s apartment on Fairview Avenue about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Police Sgt. Bob Ensley said. Gonzalez died at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
Castillo was taken to Orange County Jail.
