A free “energy-cost calculator” from Southern California Edison will give you the answer. The handy chart explains how much it costs to operate nearly 20 different items, from house lights to water beds.
The calculator can be ordered by calling Edison’s toll-free number, (800) 952-5062. The company can also send you a variety of free brochures and pamphlets explaining how you can save energy and cut your utility bills.
