GOING, GOING . . .: County Tax Assessor Bradley Jacobs has some consolation for Coto de Caza homeowners who’ll see homes like their models sell at auction Sunday for possibly as little as $215,000 (D1): They may be eligible for property tax reductions next year. . . . “In a real auction that is widely advertised, the prices are a good indication of market value,” Jacobs says. “Proposition 13 says the value on the tax roll cannot be higher than the value in the marketplace.”
