WASHINGTON — Vietnamese Foreign Minister Nguyen Co Thach will meet with Bush Administration officials here Wednesday to discuss the possibility of providing additional information about the nearly 1,700 Americans still unaccounted for from the Vietnam War, the State Department said Monday.
Thach will meet with the U.S. special envoy for the MIA-POW issue, Gen. John W. Vessey Jr., and with Ann Mills Griffiths, who heads a group of family members of the missing Americans. He also will meet with members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
