ANAHEIM — A man died early Saturday morning when the vehicle he was driving drifted off a street and struck a utility pole.
Authorities said Ross Reid, 46, of Stanton was found about 1:30 a.m. inside his 1984 GMC pickup truck in the 100 block of South Beach Blvd.
The victim, who police said was the sole occupant of the four-wheel-drive vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anaheim Police Lt. John L. Haradon said the vehicle had been going north on Beach.
