Trump Files Payment Plan: A plan to repay more than $54 million in overdue bills to subcontractors who worked on Donald Trump’s Taj Mahal Casino Resort was filed with the federal Securities and Exchange Commission. The casino said it has paid $15 million in cash and will pay another $3.2 million in cash by Oct. 15. The casino also pledged $36.4 million in notes coming due Aug. 15, 1995. The state Casino Control Commission must OK the plan.
