Santa Monica : Raises for City Executives

The City Council approved 5% pay raises for 22 city executives, and additional market adjustment raises for 12 of those positions.
The new annual salaries, which are retroactive to July 1 are as follows:
Assistant city manager $101,544; director of general services, $98,640; director of transportation, $98,640; chief of police, $98,640; fire chief, $92,448; director of community and economic development, $89,232; director of planning, $87,324; director of finance, $83,388; director of personnel $80,484; airport director, $79,620; director of cultural and recreational services, $79,380; director of information services, $75,924; city librarian, $73,716; risk management administrator, $70,140; building officer, $67,992; city clerk, $62,748; (3) senior management analysts, $58,632; city manager’s office administrator, $47,244, and City Council office administrator, $43,872.
