WORLD IN BRIEF : PAKISTAN : Bhutto, President Assail Each Other

President Ghulam Ishaq Khan and the prime minister he fired, Benazir Bhutto, lashed out at each other. He accused her party of fascist tendencies after its activists, in a wild scene, occupied a Lahore court building where she faced charges of abusing her powers in office. Bhutto said the president has plunged Pakistan into crisis and that the Oct. 24 election will be fought on the single issue of curtailing his powers.
