After winning three of four games, the Azusa Pacific University football team will try to continue its successful ways with a game against winless Whittier at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Whittier.

The Cougars, who have won two consecutive games, will meet a Whittier squad that has been outscored, 110-49. The Poets surrendered 266 yards and two passing touchdowns against Pomona-Pitzer.
In other games matching four-year colleges Saturday, La Verne visits Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Pomona-Pitzer plays host to the University of San Diego in 1:30 p.m. matchups and Occidental will entertain Trinity of Texas at 7:30 p.m.
