Big Boeing Deal Completed: Singapore Airlines signed a contract for up to 30 jumbo jets valued at $5.5 billion, completing a deal announced in January for 15 Boeing 747-400s and options for 15 others. A Boeing spokesman said the contract did not add to the company’s orders for 308 aircraft worth $28 billion received so far this year.
