Rick Reiff, a staff writer in the Chicago office of Forbes magazine, has been named editor of the Orange County Business Journal. He succeeds Mike Stone, who had been editor since the publication was acquired by CBJ Associates Inc. last year. Stone has been appointed editorial director and investigative reporter for CBJ and will work with other CBJ-owned papers on joint editorial projects.
Before joining Forbes, Reiff worked for American City Business Journals, a Charlotte-based publisher. Before that, he spent 12 years at the Akron Beacon Journal, where he contributed to the Pulitzer Prize-winning coverage of the attempted takeover of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.
