Masked Robbers Take $2,000 from Restaurant
Four people wearing ski masks and carrying guns robbed a Woodland Hills restaurant of about $2,000, police said Saturday.
The robbery occurred Friday about 10:45 p.m. at the Light and Healthy restaurant at 19841 Ventura Blvd., Los Angeles Police Sgt. James Becker said.
One of the robbers fired a handgun into the ceiling to frighten patrons, Becker said. One person suffered minor injuries when he was pushed by one of the robbers.
The robbers took cash and belongings from the business and from about eight people there, Becker said. The thieves fled after ordering everyone to lie down.
