A PCP lab in a Windsor Hills house exploded early Thursday, ripping doors and windows from their casements and igniting a fire that burned the back of the house, authorities said.
No injuries were reported in the 3:30 a.m. explosion in the 4900 block of Chesley Avenue, Sheriff’s Deputy Roger Hom said. The house sustained extensive damage, but there was no immediate dollar estimate.
Benny Childs Jr. 49, and Sherree McNeil, 43, were booked on suspicion of possession of a controled substance with intent to distribute. Sheriff’s Sgt. Bob Olmsted said each was being held in lieu of $500,000 bond.
