On Sept. 4, “Real Life With Jane Pauley” had a disturbing story on dieting among pre-teen girls. I was shocked to learn how some 10-year-old girls are brainwashed into believing that only thin, attractive females succeed in the world. What was even worse was finding out that their parents are the ones that led them to believe this. I just hope that those girls don’t grow up to be like their parents.
