Belmont Shore
Regarding the At Home about Belmont Shore (“Norman Rockwell Meets Single Scene,†Aug. 26) by Mark Pinsky: I appreciated reading the article very much. I built a one-story house on 1 1/2 lots ($900), 1,000 square feet for $3,800 in 1936--one of the earlier FHA loans. Have lived there ever since. As my children grow older, I’ve added on 550 square feet over the rear of house. I wouldn’t live anywhere else! Thanks for write-up. Just hope it doesn’t encourage others to want to move here.
