* Bishop Inc. said its directors elected James R. Schwartz as president and chief executive of the Agoura Hills concern, which provides design products and services for engineers and architects.
Schwartz succeeded John J. Theiss, who resigned to pursue other interests, said Bishop, which has struggled in recent years. In the nine months that ended June 30, Bishop lost $872,000 on revenue of $7.53 million.
Bishop’s chairman is Richard M. Drysdale, who also is chairman of Terminal Data Corp., a Moorpark maker of imaging equipment that also is ailing financially.
Schwartz formerly was president of Terminal Data and in recent months had been a consultant to Bishop.
