On July 31, I watched the unsold CBS pilot “Shangri-La Plaza,” a grade-A turkey. I cannot believe that other rejected pilots were worse than this show (a musical set at a minimall). It is shows such as “Shangri-La Plaza” that drive viewers to cable.
