L.A. Softball Adult Teams to Play Finals

The Los Angeles Municipal Sports Adult Slow Pitch Softball Championship tournament concludes today in Balboa Park in Encino.

The tournament includes men’s and co-recreational categories subdivided by skill levels.

Winners and runners-up in various city leagues were invited to the tournament that began Aug. 4.

Championship-game matchups include: Other Team vs. Reds Fantasy in B men’s slow pitch, 9 a.m.; Task Force vs. 99 Video in C men’s slow pitch, 10:30 a.m.; and Shindiggers vs. Valley Furniture in B-major men’s slow pitch at noon.

All of the teams in the championships are from the Valley area.
