Crash Kills Woman; Husband Is Arrested
GARDEN GROVE — A 32-year-old man whose wife was killed in a motorcycle accident Friday night has been arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving and manslaughter, police said Saturday.
Jolleen Ann Evans, 31, died about 11:30 p.m. Friday when she was thrown from a motorcycle her husband, Raymond Scott Evans, was driving. Police said the couple was going south on Palmwood Drive near Dewey Drive in a quiet residential area when Evans lost control and hit a brick wall.
His wife was pronounced dead at the scene. Evans was reported in serious condition at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
