Freeway Lane, Ramp Closures Continue
Construction on connector roads near the Ventura and San Diego freeways’ interchange will continue today, closing eastbound lanes and ramps, transportation officials said.
The construction is part of the final phase of Caltrans’ $76-million Ventura Improvement Project aimed at widening and improving the Ventura Freeway between Agoura Hills and the Hollywood interchange.
The following closures will be in effect until 11 a.m. today:
Southbound San Diego Freeway connector road to eastbound Ventura Freeway; one eastbound Ventura Freeway lane between Balboa and Sepulveda boulevards; the eastbound Hayvenhurst Avenue on-ramp to the Ventura Freeway and the eastbound Balboa Boulevard on-ramp.
Motorists are advised to use Ventura or Burbank boulevards as alternate routes.
