Australian Puts Welcome Mat Out for British Royalty
ADELAIDE, Australia — Hey, Prince Charles--tired of that British climate? A politician is putting out the welcome mat in hopes that you or another member of the royal family will move Down Under.
Legislator Bob Such told the South Australia state Parliament last week that Australia should consider having its own resident Royal Family.
When asked who was on his royal short list, Such said one or more members of the British Royal Family could move Down Under to start Australia’s own royal line.
Such said the royals could become Australians eventually.
