The Lightweights and the Critically Approved

One can only hope Hilburn’s article will prod readers into being a little more selective when it comes to spending money on music. Personally, while I may purchase Kate Bush or Sinead O’Connor, I’m also trying to build a library of artists that produced earlier (fine) work--such as Traffic, Steely Dan, etc.
