Fluor Daniel Awarded $22 Million in Contracts

Irvine-based Fluor Daniel Inc., the principal operating unit of Fluor Corp., said Monday that it was awarded two contracts with a total value of about $22 million for energy-related projects.
The company said it won a $10-million contract from Vancouver-based Westcoast Energy Inc. to provide process design, detailed engineering and procurement for expansion of a gas-processing facility in northeast British Columbia.
Fluor Daniel also said it obtained a $12-million contract from Mobil Oil Corp. to provide engineering, procurement and construction-management services for a 500-gallon-per-minute sour-water stripper tower at Mobil’s Chalmette, La., refinery.
