Downey Issues Street-Sweeping Parking Permits

DOWNEY — The Traffic Engineering Section is issuing street-sweeping parking permits and renewals for the 1990-91 permit period running from Aug. 1 through July 31.
The bumper decals cost $10 and are available to Downey residents who do not have adequate parking space on their property. These individuals are exempted from moving their automobiles off city streets on designated sweeping days. Citations will be issued to vehicles without decals that impede the route of sweeping vehicles during sweeping hours.
Permits are available in the Traffic Engineering Section at Downey City Hall, 11111 Brookshire Ave., phone 869-7331, ext. 273.
