UAL Buyout Group Gets More Time: UAL Corp.’s board gave an employee group trying to buy the parent of United Airlines until Oct. 9 to arrange financing for the $4.38-billion buyout. The previous deadline was today, but Middle East turmoil had hindered negotiations with financing sources.
