SIMI VALLEY : 2 Men Rob Store of $75,000 in Jewelry
A Simi Valley store was robbed of $75,000 worth of jewelry, police said Tuesday.
Two men entered Jonart Jewelry in the 2400 block of Erringer Road at 4 p.m. Monday. One of them pointed a handgun at employee John Kiledjian, 48, of Canoga Park, said Lt. Neal Rein of the Simi Valley Police Department.
The gunman demanded a key to the display cases, and the second man tied Kiledjian up.
The two men removed numerous items from the cases, then dragged Kiledjian into a bathroom of the store, police said.
The two men escaped through a back door. Kiledjian was able to free himself and call police.
Police said they have no suspects.
