Soviet Films Added: Two Soviet films have been added to the festival lineup. “Roof of the World,” a 1928 silent directed by Victor Eroseev, will be screened Sept. 8 at 2 p.m. “First Spring of Youth,” a 1979 film about the fatal consequences of a romantic pursuit directed by Devlet Khudonazarov, will be shown Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. Both screenings will be held at the Los Feliz Theater; Khudonazarov and Soviet film official Naum Kleiman are scheduled to attend.
