More Roseanne
Roseanne Barr’s performance at the Padre game was an insult to all Americans and an incredible embarrassment to San Diego.
Dick Freeman’s apology was pathetic. Tom Werner’s apology was very weak and not convincing. Barr’s husband’s remarks defending her are not worthy of comment.
To claim or even suggest that Barr’s actions were a parody is not believable. If even half of what has been written about her is true, she is crass and crude. She was a brutally bad choice to sing the national anthem. Tom Werner knows that.
For there to have been no rehearsal is unforgiveable. Werner wouldn’t release a TV show that way.
The best thing for Werner to do is to sell the Padres and stick with Hollywood productions.
