I finally have given up on KCAL’s Prime 9 News with Jerry Dunphy & Co. Considering all the buildup and fanfare, their newscasts are a joke.

What’s really irritating is that their predecessors Wendy Gordon, Tom Lawrence, Scott St. James and Andrew Amador worked well together and were really enjoyable to watch. As far as I am concerned, they were ripped off when they were fired for the station’s current group of bumblers.

I now cast my vote against Prime 9 News by tuning it out and waiting for the always excellent Channel 5 News at Ten with Hal Fishman.
